Mother’s Day is right around the corner and let’s face it, you probably haven’t gotten anything for your mom/wife/partner. Don’t worry though, there’s still time to throw together a Mother’s Day that she is sure to love (trust me, I would know)!
While talking with my dad the other day I lamented to him about how tired I was expressing hopefully that maybe when my kids are both 5 I will finally start to catch back up on my sleep. His response……I hate to break it to you but 26 years later and your mom is still complaining she hasn’t caught up on her sleep. So hubbies, for pete’s sake let your wife sleep in on Mother’s Day! Make it an extra special night’s sleep for her with some amazing sleep gifts below:
Breakfast in Bed
After she has slept in as long as her heart is content bring her some breakfast and COFFEE in bed. Not a huge cook? Don’t worry! Something you can the kids created together will be sure to put a smile on her face not matter how it tastes. Just make sure to have a steaming cup of coffee with her favorite creamer ready as well.
A Good Book
Finding time to read as a mom is nearly impossible so for this Mother’s Day get her a good book and a homemade coupon for two hours of uninterrupted reading time. Bonus if a gift card to her favorite coffee shop is included!
A good massage can solve all of a mom’s problems, trust me on this one. If you can splurge on a professional massage then by all means buy her the 90 minute massage, but if you can’t a few youtube videos later and I promise you will have one happy mama. A manicure and pedicure gift card are always a safe bet but remember you have to watch the kids during this time too! If all else fails, a nice long bubble bath is a great way to show you care. Below are some of my essentials for an at home pampering session.
